Rob comes to the Sense of Power Pilates team from a varied background in Business, the Arts and Health. His role is in handling the operational requirements for Sense of Power Pilates, including financial reporting and compliance. While you may not run into him in person at the studio, he is there working in the background to keep everything running smoothly.
Rob first got interested in movement philosophies through studying Feldenkrais during Acting training at WAAPA – seeking optimal, or more efficient movement pathways. This foundation has carried over into his Pilates practice, where key areas of interest are breath, awareness and efficiency. Continuing Pilates has helped Rob correct imbalances across the major muscle groups in his back, reducing over-recruitment and increasing functionality overall.
Having a keen passion for the Arts, means Rob can often be found at a play, musical or ballet alongside studio Director, Alisha. When he gets a bit of downtime, Rob is usually out for a motorcycle ride, whether that’s local or out into the countryside.
Sense of Power Pilates is an instructor training and work placement studio with Pilates ITC. Sense of Power Pilates is a registered studio with Pilates Association Australia (ST19048919) and AusActive (403335).
